Hi there, I'm Amy, a therapist who is passionate about helping individuals of all ages live more fulfilling lives by deepening their self-awareness while advancing an authentic connection to nature.
My approach to therapy is grounded in Gestalt theory, somatic experiencing, and nature-based counseling. I believe that by exploring your physical sensations and emotions in a safe, non-judgmental space, we can uncover and release emotional blocks that may be holding you back.
As an active member of the Therapeutic Adventure Professionals Group (TAPG) and the Association for Specialists in Group Work (ASGW), and with a background in wilderness therapy, I have experience working with individuals and groups in remote settings, and I understand the importance of developing a strong connection to oneself, each other, and the natural world. Additional training in play therapy and adventure therapy has given me a unique perspective on the healing power of nature and the outdoors.
In my free time I volunteer as an Arkansas Master Naturalist and am an active member of the Arkansas Canoe Club, where I offer introductory and level 2 paddleboarding courses.
Whether we are working in an office or outside in nature, my focus is always on creating a safe and supportive environment where you can feel free to explore and grow.
I'm excited to work with you and support you on your journey towards greater self-awareness and personal growth.
