We hold the belief that movement plays a crucial role in the healing process and that everyone can benefit from connecting with their body and breath. Our goal is to foster a safe and inclusive environment for individuals of all ages, abilities, genders, body shapes, sizes, and colors, providing a space for you to reconnect with yourself and each other.

Our studio focuses on offering classes that promote connection by healing the nervous system while encouraging growth through practices such as yoga, somatic movement, breathwork, and meditation.

Class descriptions

Yin Yoga

In this gentle and restorative practice, we maintain each pose for 3 to 7 minutes, typically performed on the floor. This extended duration enables the body to gradually release tension and deeply engage with the various layers of connective tissue (fascia). By combining breath awareness, deep stretches, and mindful intention, this sacred experience harmonizes both the mind and body, allowing you to journey inward and foster a deeper connection with yourself.

Yoga for Trauma

A gentle practice designed to help you reconnect with your body on a deeper level, while acknowledging the effects of trauma on both the mind and body. This class integrates yoga philosophy, polyvagal theory, and the strength of community, following the principles of a Trauma-Informed Yoga Class. The goal is to foster safety and connection through breath, slow movement, rest, and co-regulation.

You are encouraged to exercise freedom of choice in all movements, always being reminded of your autonomy over your body. We aim to use inclusive language, and the music features minimal lyrics.

The group will be arranged in a semi-circle, equipped with ample props and space. Our focus will be on techniques to calm and regulate the nervous system, while also growing our capacity to embrace the full spectrum of human emotions.

This class is particularly beneficial for those dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, and other difficult emotional states. You will never be asked to verbally share in this class.
