Traci Hesley, LPC

Drawing from both my educational background and years of personal experience, I aim to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their lives, deepen their self-awareness, and enhance their understanding of others. My goal is for each person I work with to feel truly heard and empowered—knowing they have a voice and the right to set healthy boundaries that promote a more balanced and fulfilling life.

My approach emphasizes inner harmony and encourages clients to reflect through the lens of, "Does this bring me closer to or further from my goals?" This simple yet impactful perspective serves as a guiding principle for making meaningful decisions and fostering lasting personal growth.

I use therapeutic models such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and art-based techniques like Soul Collage. These modalities help bring the subconscious into conscious awareness, facilitating deeper insight and healing. These tools allow clients to connect with parts of themselves that may have been hidden, offering new perspectives and promoting inner integration.

I take great pleasure in cultivating a non-judgmental space where clients can explore all aspects of themselves—the visible and the hidden. I'm passionate about helping individuals develop a deeper understanding of who they are and what they need to live lives that feel peaceful, authentic, and fulfilling. I often take a “slower is faster” approach in therapy, allowing space for insight and healing to unfold naturally. My perspective is rooted in the belief that all parts of a person have value and deserve to be heard with compassion and curiosity.

I specialize in working with adults—particularly women and those recovering from narcissistic abuse—as well as adolescents (ages 12-17) and their families. I have a deep passion for supporting individuals navigating complex relational dynamics or recovering from emotional trauma. Additionally, I have specialized experience with adolescents who exhibit sexually maladaptive behaviors, including those who have offended or engage in high-risk behaviors. In this work, I take a trauma-informed, family-centered approach, understanding the importance of supporting not just the individual but also the surrounding system to foster healing, accountability, and growth.

I offer both in-person and telehealth appointments to meet your needs.
