Dr. Kara Iribarren is a skilled physical therapist specializing in women’s health, myofascial release, and dry needling. With a deep commitment to helping her patients achieve optimal physical function, she uses a trauma- informed, holistic and individualized approach to treatment. Her expertise in myofascial release helps alleviate chronic pain, muscle tightness, and fascial restrictions, while her proficiency in dry needling targets trigger points and muscle tension to reduce discomfort and improve mobility. Additionally, her specialization in women’s health allows her to address conditions such as pelvic floor dysfunction, postpartum recovery, and other unique challenges women face. With a focus on evidence-based practices and a compassionate, patient-centered approach, Dr. Kara empowers her clients to heal, move, and thrive.
Dr. Kara Iribarren received her doctorate in physical therapy at UAMS in Fayetteville in 2021. Since then she has become certified in dry needling through Intricate Arts Spine and Body Solutions. She studies myofascial release extensively through John Barnes. She also has completed FMS level 1 for functional movement systems evaluation and is in the process of completing a certification for women’s health coaching through the Integrative Women’s Health Institute
She has extensive experience working with a diverse population of people from all backgrounds and abilities. She is a proud member and ally of the LGBT+ community and the Global Majority and is honored to provide a safe space for all.
