Alisha Yarberry, LPC mental health therapist (she/her)
Alisha Yarberry, LPC received her Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Arkansas in 2019. She has worked with high-risk teenagers in an inpatient environment, provided school-based services, and worked in a private practice with all ages. Alisha has experience working with individuals with postpartum issues, birth trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, trauma, and anger management. She believes that the relationship between the therapist and client is fundamental in that it provides a safe framework for an individual to grow, develop and heal. Together a client and therapist can set goals and determine a different direction to move in. She utilizes aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Person-Centered approach to meet clients where they are in their healing journey.
Alisha grew up in Colorado and moved to Arkansas in 2013 to attend school and play soccer at Lyon College. In her free time, she enjoys being outside with her 2 dogs and watching sports with her husband and son.
