A. B. Raiford

Mental Health Therapy Intern (she/they)

I believe we’re naturally inclined toward health and liberation when we feel supported, safe, and connected. I work in collaboration with clients to create a non-judgmental space in which they can explore what it means to live in authentic embodiment. I think my own ability to be present and authentic are essential to creating this space. I work from a holistic, trauma-informed approach, integrating a conscious awareness of systemic impacts with the intention of helping clients orient to their inner strengths and resources.

I feel particularly honored to work with those in neurodivergent, disability, and LGBTQ+ communities.

I like to be outside as much as possible; preferably exploring a creek, running on a trail, rock climbing, or just listening to the woods. I also love dancing. I'm currently working towards a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Arkansas.
