We believe that movement is essential to our healing and that connecting to our body and breath is for everyone. Our intention is to create a safe and inclusive space for people of all ages, abilities, genders, body shapes/sizes/colors, socioeconomic statuses, races, orientations and experiences to have a place to reconnect to themselves and others.

Our studio is centered around offerings that support connection through healing the nervous system and cultivating a practice of self-inquiry through yoga, movement, breathwork and meditation. We honor the beauty of body diversity and believe that health and wellness can be experienced at every age and size.

Yoga for Trauma

A gentle practice to reconnect to the body in a deeper way while being aware of the impacts of trauma on the mind and body. This class weaves together yoga philosophy, polyvagal theory, and the power of community following the guidelines of a Trauma-Informed Yoga Class and aims to create safety and connection through breath, movement, stillness, and co-regulation.

There is an emphasis on freedom of choice in all movements, always reminding students of their autonomy over their body. We use inclusive language and the music has minimal words.

You can expect the group to be set up in a semi-circle with lots of props and space. We will focus on techniques to soothe and regulate the nervous system while also building our capacity to experience the wide range of human emotions. All are welcome to this class.

Ideal for anyone experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, and other challenging states of being.
