Faith Yam is a licensed professional counselor who collaborates in the lives of her clients to create curiosity again! She works from a nonbinary worldview and identifies with she/they pronouns. Her counseling style comes from an integration of Systems Theory and cultural identity integration perspective (what are your roles, rules/beliefs and boundaries). She practices this using the tools of somatic body mindfulness by increasing your physiological emotion connection awareness. She has a passion for working with the neurodiverse population including ADHD, Autism, OCD, and various trauma responses. She advocates for and within the queer/LGBTQIA+ community as she is pansexual and genderfluid identifying. She enjoys working with racial identity confusion and interracial relationships, unconventional relationships are welcome. She attained her master's of clinical mental health counseling at the University of Arkansas in 2018 where she worked in the university dorms and university counseling center. From there, she moved on to community mental health in school-based counseling (elementary - high school) and then the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences educating as well as counseling healthcare students-in-training and medical residents. She now practices as a contracted private practice counselor.
