Yoga for Mental Health

At Day by Day, we believe in community, so all of our yoga classes are small in size (between five and ten people) to ensure that participants can get to know one other and receive individualized attention and care throughout class. Classes are led by instructors who are both licensed mental health therapists and certified yoga teachers. All of our classes are trauma-sensitive and are appropriate for individuals who have a long practice of yoga and for those who’ve never been in a studio before.

This trauma sensitive, body-based yoga class will support you in learning how to be in your body with awareness and self-compassion. You’ll enjoy both flowing postures and restorative poses while working with mantras and the breath. The class includes time for relaxation.

Tuesdays, 6:00 - 7:15 pm

$16 per class

This gentle, trauma sensitive yoga class is an opportunity to unwind from the week, re-center, and prepare for the week ahead. The class begins with breathwork and intention setting, followed by gentle, flowing movements then longer held restorative postures. Deep relaxation is then facilitated through guided meditation and AcuWellness. The class concludes with tea and group discussion so that participants have an opportunity to connect with one another.
