Women’s Wellness Retreat
for women experiencing pmdd/pme
Are the days leading up to your period filled with relational conflict, hopelessness, extreme fatigue, changes in appetite, panic, and more?
The Day by Day Women’s Cycle Wellness Program is designed to help you understand your cycle, find healing from the overwhelming symptoms of PMDD/PME, and reclaim your life while connecting with a community of women. The program includes individual therapy, group therapy, trauma-sensitive yoga, AcuWellness, nutrition counseling, and retreats that are open to women across the country.
Fall Retreat - September 2019
Our Fall Women’s Wellness retreat is September 13-15, 2019 in Clarksville, Arkansas. This three day retreat features PMDD/PME education, integrative wellness care, delicious medicinal food, quality time with a community of women, and restorative rest in nature under the September full moon. This retreat is ideal for women who are navigating cyclical fluctuations in mood and emotional well-being.
It is recommended that retreat participants be engaged in individual therapy with a licensed mental health professional in their hometown. Once we receive a signed Release of Information, we will speak with your individual therapist to ensure appropriate integration and collaboration of care. This retreat is not appropriate for individuals who are actively engaging in suicidal actions.
The retreat includes
Six plant based meals plus snacks specifically created for PMDD wellness
Six hours of PMDD/PME education, Cycle Mapping(TM), and group work
Three trauma-sensitive yoga and meditation classes
AcuWellness (auricular acupuncture)
Nutrition counseling and education
Transportation to and from the Little Rock International Airport, Hampton Inn, and retreat center
Retreat Cost - $580 (includes everything listed above)
Deposit of $250 to hold your spot due at time of registration
While you are welcome to determine your own lodging, we have a discounted group rate at the Hampton Inn in Clarksville, AR. Let us know if you’d like a shared room. The cost is approximately $97 for two nights.
About the FACILITATORs - Jenni Kay Long, Dr. Crystal rofkahr jordan anderson
Jenni Kay Long, RYT, LCSW, ADS, is passionate about supporting women on their journey towards healing and wholeness. She is an expert in women’s premenstrual mood disorders with a Master’s degree in clinical social work from Bryn Mawr College. She is also a registered yoga teacher and certified in auricular acupuncture. Jenni Kay serves on the Clinical Advisory Board for the International Association for Premenstrual Disorders (IAPMD).
Dr. Crystal Rofkahr has studied with the some of world’s foremost experts on mind, body, and soul healing, and through her research discovered that all of our distress, whether it be physical, psychological, or spiritual, can wrap around a person like a spider web, restricting their personal growth and potential. She feels that her purpose in life is to help people reconnect to themselves in such a way that they are capable of breaking through these restrictions so they can live life in a more connected and nourished way.
Jordan Anderson is a Holistic Nutrition Consultant and a Certified Healthy Hands Cooking Instructor. She believes each person has their own specific needs concerning nutrition and tailors plans specifically based on a client’s preferences and health background. She teaches clients how to make healthy eating choices while also empowering her clients with basic kitchen skills.
