crystal S. rofkahr, PhD

Dr. Rofkahr is the founder of Day by Day. She has studied with the some of world’s foremost experts on mind, body, and soul healing, and through her research discovered that all of our distress, whether it be physical, psychological, or spiritual, can wrap around a person like a spider web, restricting their personal growth and potential. She feels that her purpose in life is to help people reconnect to themselves in such a way that they are capable of breaking through these restrictions so they can live life in a more connected and nourished way.  Dr. Rofkahr graduated with a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Dakota, where she focused her research in two main areas: Mindfulness and LGBTQ. She has specialized training in supervision of clinical trainees, substance abuse, sexual trauma, group therapy, military/Veteran concerns, LGBTQ, and couples therapy, and is certified in nutritional psychology, a certified trauma specialist, and mental health integrative medicine specialist.


Jenni kay long RYT, LCSW, ADS

Jenni Kay Long is a holistic psychotherapist who integrates relational counseling with auricular acupuncture, trauma-sensitive yoga, and mindfulness. As a PMDD survivor, she is passionate about women's reproductive wellness and specializes in working with issues such as PMS, PMDD/PME, perinatal and postpartum struggles, anxiety and panic disorders, and complex trauma. She is a clinical suicidologist, a certified domestic violence advocate, and is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Jenni Kay received her Master's degree for clinical social work from Bryn Mawr College, her Classical Yoga Teacher certification from YogaLife Institute, and her AcuWellness certification from the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association. Jenni Kay serves on the Clinical Advisory Board for the International Association for Premenstrual Disorders (IAPMD). In her free time, she loves hiking, writing, and creating modern embroidery projects. She lives in Northwest Arkansas with her partner and two kids.

Stacey is a licensed therapist with more than 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and their loved ones. She is a Certified Health Coach, as well as, a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional. She tailors her therapeutic techniques based on each client’s specific needs and strengths while focusing on building their awareness and mindfulness.

Stacey is committed to helping you identify and understand your personal obstacles, allowing you work collaboratively with her to create a map to the person you want to be.

Stacey has significant experience treating a wide range of mental health challenges including: anxiety, depression, trauma, life-adjustment issues, chronic pain, relationship issues, stress management, low self-esteem, transitioning into adulthood, and dysfunctional relationships with food.

 She believes that there is a strong connection between mental health and physical health and is committed to helping clients improve both in order to achieve the best quality of life possible.  Her treatment philosophy is holistic and she strives to provide all clients with a safe, warm, and non-judgmental therapeutic experience.  She believes that psychotherapy should help you gain greater insight into your thoughts, patterns and behaviors and create lasting change.


michael Schwarz, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor

Michael is a licensed professional counselor with extensive experience in both individual and group therapy. He has a BA in Psychology and a Masters of Science in Counselor Education from the University of Arkansas. Michael’s passion is helping others rediscover their inner strength and resilience. He has been a vital link in Northwest Arkansas, guiding others through the challenges of overcoming substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and trauma. He has experience in hospital, private practice, and university settings, counseling individuals, groups, and families while utilizing a humanistic, person-centered approach to his cognitive therapy that integrates mindfulness and committed action techniques. Michael will collaborate with you to uncover an avenue to a better you, incorporating all aspects of your life experience to help you find peace, day to day.



certified holistic nutrition consultant

Jordan is a Holistic Nutrition Consultant and a Certified Healthy Hands Cooking Instructor.  She believes each person has their own specific needs concerning nutrition and tailors plans specifically based on a client’s preferences and health background.  She teaches clients how to make healthy eating choices while also empowering her clients with basic kitchen skills.  Jordan can help inspire you to make wise food choices, share exercise regimens, and create sustainable self-care routines that will allow you to make lifestyle changes for the better - while not starving in the process!  Jordan is also actively working with Northwest Arkansas public schools to create cooking enrichment programs. She loves to create meal plans and prepare foods for clients who have severe food allergies and for others who need help due to their busy lives.  Jordan is passionate about anything food related and loves learning about new diets, cooking techniques, and how food interacts with each of our own bodies. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.


Alyssa whitley, office manager

Alyssa, our office manager, is the first and likely the most important person you’ll meet when you start your adventure with us. She keeps our team scheduled and on-task while managing all scheduling and billing. She has received a BA in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of Arkansas, and is continuing her education in order to become a licensed therapist. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, baking, hiking, and spending time with her dog, Rosco, and hedgehog, Maisie.
