The men’s mental health program is designed to provide support and encouragement to every man.  The world that we all live in can provide so many challenges and, at times, mixed messages about what it means to be a man.  Expectations, roles, and guidelines regarding the best way to live/act/behave vary so drastically depending on the situation, it can be quite difficult to navigate.  This program is built to provide a safe space to explore, in an individual and group setting, how to pursue the life you want to live, not the one you’re “supposed” to live based upon various messages you may have heard (or continue to hear) throughout your lifetime.  It’s about being bold, brave, and courageous, plotting out our own course based upon what each person determines is best for their life. Join us as we pursue meaningful living with vigor and passion, casting out stereotypes and challenging flawed beliefs about what it is to be a man.

About the facilitator - Michael Schwarz, LPC

The Day by Day Men’s Mental Health Program was created and is facilitated by Michael Schwarz, LPC. Michael is a licensed professional counselor with extensive experience in both individual and group therapy. He has a BA in Psychology and a Masters of Science in Counselor Education from the University of Arkansas. Michael’s passion is helping others rediscover their inner strength and resilience. He will collaborate with you to uncover an avenue to a better you, incorporating all aspects of your life experience to help you find peace, day to day.
